CLAAS honors Fried as Total Winner with “Supplier of the Year Award”

The CLAAS Group organizes the International Suppliers’ Day once a year, where the best suppliers of the CLAAS Group will be honored for the successful work. Fried Kunststofftechnik wins a “Supplier of the Year Award” in the category “Total Winner” for the outstanding performance in 2021.

Partnership for 15 years

CLAAS found a specialist for cabin roof production in the company Fried Kunststofftechnik in 2007. For several years, Fried has been much more than an injection moulding supplier for the manufacturing of the 4 m² plastic parts: material development, fillability and plastic-compatible construction of the components, development and production of the injection moulds, design and production of the prototypes, complex logistics solutions are all part of the service spectrum in Urbach. Even in the difficult Corona pandemic times, Fried was able to continue the daily delivery of the cabin roof modules without interruptions.

Successful New Project in 2021

The overall service spectrum, technical know-how, level of innovation and a lot of experience in plastics technologies make Fried Kunststofftechnik a reliable partner. This award goes back to many years of cooperation between two companies. It is partly the result of a new project, in which Fried and CLAAS worked together to develop the new cabin roofs for medium and large combine harvester series LEXION and TUCANO, forage harvesters JAGUAR and large XERION tractors. The new cabin roof has been in use in the field since the beginning of 2022.

Looking to the future

“This award is a great honor for us and confirms, that we have done everything right so far. This motivates us even more to accept the the new challenges, to continue to show a high level of our own initiative and to supply customers with our expertise and experience of the plastics industry. The long-standing cooperation with CLAAS was and remains to be very professional, solution-oriented and transparent. This makes working together so fun, because both parties benefit from the result. We are looking forward to many more interesting projects together,” says President Ralf Krüger. He received the award together with the Sales Manager Manuel Pail (Fried) and responsible project leader Marko Travner (Fried) personally from Executive Vice President and CFO Henner Böttcher (CLAAS) and Senior Vice President Corporate Purchasing and Senior Director Strategic Projects Rüdiger Mohr (CLAAS) at the Awarding Ceremony in the August in Harsewinkel.
