On the 9th of March 2024, the Waiblingen newspaper publisher reported about Fried Kunststofftechnik. Questions about the current challenges, particularly with regard to growth and a shortage of skilled workers, were answered by both managing directors. The Talent Company was the first step in 2023 for the successful collaboration. Today we are pleased to announce an official educational partnership between the Wittum School and Fried Kunststofftechnik GmbH. Through this collaboration, we offer pupil the opportunity to gain practical experience in plastics technology, expand their skills and prepare for a successful professional future. We look forward to many joint company tours, internships and other action days with aspiring young people!
Fried is proud to be part of the Talent Company project at the Wittum School in Urbach! On September 28, 2023, we celebrated the opening of this exciting career guidance space, which opens the door to a world of opportunities for students. Our mission is to promote young talents and support them on their way into professional life. Because we believe that everyone can develop their full potential. Since July 2021, Fried Kunststofftechnik has been manufacturing all plastic components carbon-neutrally. Additionally, in the years 2024-2026, Fried is committed to using 100% carbon-neutral eco-gas. Our environmentally-friendly production saves 376 tons of CO2 annually compared to conventional natural gas. Through the carbon savings, we contribute to creating a livable future and sustainable jobs in Germany for future generations. Our customers benefit automatically through the carbon balance reduction of their products.

In August 2023, Johannes Thomas was appointed as a new member of the management of Fried Kunststofftechnik GmbH. Having worked for the company for several years, Mr. Thomas has in-depth knowledge of the corporate culture and the industry. “We are pleased to have Mr. Thomas on board,” says Ralf Krüger, the company’s long-standing managing director. “His extensive knowledge in the key areas of finance, controlling and IT will help to further consolidate our leading position in plastics technology and secure our long-term competitiveness.”
As part of the management team, Mr. Thomas is now responsible for the company’s finances, human resources, purchasing, marketing and administration. Ralf Krüger, who joined the company in 1991, remains the successful constant in the management and is now taking over the technical management with the areas of production, quality management, production control, sales and development.
