Correct handling of the granules protects and preserves our environment – especially the waterways and oceans. In 2020, Fried joined a global initiative “Zero Pellet Loss” of the plastics industry in order to avoid granulate losses in the production. The project could be implemented within a few months and thus a contribution to the reduction of plastic waste was made.
A two-page article about the new building and the 40th jubilee of Fried Kunststofftechnik appeared in the regional newspaper on October 10, 2020. The Executive Board looks back, talks about the most important milestones, experienced changes in the company and shares goals for the future.
In order to guarantee customers the highest quality, Fried continuously invests in modern production facilities. A new painting hall, which extends the total production area by 1200 square meters, was presented in September 2020. The two-storey facility will be used to paint large parts for the consumer, agricultural machinery and medical technology markets, with a final inspection and assembly line in three-shift operation.
The complete edition of the daily newspapers from 16.07.2020 had a special attachment “Mutmacher – die etwas andere Wirtschaftsbeilage”. Fried, as part of the strong economic region in the Rems-Murr district, tells their own story about the consequences of the coronavirus and crisis management.
