A strong statement for sustainability! Our first exclusive customer event was a complete success. Exciting presentations and interesting discussions with our customers and partners were about one central theme: “Sustainability meets efficiency”. Fried takes responsibility – for its employees, the region, and society. A remarkable example of this commitment is Kevin Herbst: After completing his training as a process mechanic for plastics and rubber technology (now known as plastics and rubber technologist), he was hired in the injection molding department at Fried. However, Kevin is also dedicated beyond his job, volunteering as the head of the football department at TSV Rudersberg.
In an interview, Kevin provides fascinating insights into his experiences and challenges in this role and explains how Fried became a sponsor of TSV Rudersberg. We are proud to have such dedicated employees like Kevin on our team and are happy to support local initiatives.

The Talent Company was the first step in 2023 for the successful collaboration. Today we are pleased to announce an official educational partnership between the Wittum School and Fried Kunststofftechnik GmbH. Through this collaboration, we offer pupil the opportunity to gain practical experience in plastics technology, expand their skills and prepare for a successful professional future. We look forward to many joint company tours, internships and other action days with aspiring young people!
On the 9th of March 2024, the Waiblingen newspaper publisher reported about Fried Kunststofftechnik. Questions about the current challenges, particularly with regard to growth and a shortage of skilled workers, were answered by both managing directors. Since July 2021, Fried Kunststofftechnik has been manufacturing all plastic components carbon-neutrally. Additionally, in the years 2024-2026, Fried is committed to using 100% carbon-neutral eco-gas. Our environmentally-friendly production saves 376 tons of CO2 annually compared to conventional natural gas. Through the carbon savings, we contribute to creating a livable future and sustainable jobs in Germany for future generations. Our customers benefit automatically through the carbon balance reduction of their products.
