	Fried develops cab roofs for agricultural machines with Claas In close cooperation with BASF, Engel and Claas, FRIED succeeded in manufacturing a large cab roof with a 2 x 2 metre total area using an injection moulding process. Parts of this size were previously manufactured using an SMC process or with sheet metal. It is made possible through application of the innovative injection-compression technology on an Engel injection moulding machine with 32,000 kN of mould clamping force. The significant advantage of the new design is the option of integrating additional elements and functions in a component in the injection moulding process.		2 x 2 m cab roof all in one piece
