Because it is particularly economical, structural foam moulding process ideally
suits the production of extensive, thick-walled, dimensionally stable and
extremely distortion-free die-cast parts. More complex components with high
functionality and complicated contours can be developed in such a way that cost
and time intensive finishing procedures such as deflashing and recutting become
unnecessary. Surface finishes and colouring may be freely chosen. FRIED will
always use the specialized procedure that suits the design best, including
hybrid technology, coinjection moulding or injection stamping for crystal-clear
plastic parts.
